Changing light...

I keep going back to this location, towards the top of the Duddon Valley, half a mile south of the junction, at Cockley Beck, where the road links with the Hardknott and Wrynose Passes. I love this road which, despite appearances, bears sharp left just before the whitewashed farmhouse of Dale End.
The light was just as I like it - dramatic, descriptive, changing every minute - and I spent a couple of hours photographing the scene. Now I have hundreds of photos to sort, trying to bring the number down to maybe 20 ‘keepers’...
