Greening up the landscape...

After so much rain, it was good to be out with my camera yesterday. Looking on the bright side, the rain has really ‘greened up’ the landscape, which, until the extended deluge, was getting dry and dessicated...

Whenever possible, I like to shoot landscape pix with people and without. Since there was no-one else about, I resorted to using the camera’s self-timer, followed by a hop, skip and jump to get in place before the shutter fired.

The location is Wensleydale, looking down over Hawes and the tiny village of Burtersett, where, what seems like a lifetime ago, I used to work in a tiny publishing company...
